Spectacular

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Joanne Grzelak our challenge hostess for the month, continues to issue the challenges.

Apparently today is World Sight Day. Include glasses, eye charts, or a sentiment related to one’s sight on your card today.

For my card today I have created another Twist Circle Panel Card using the main pop up die from the Twist Circle Pop Up die set. You can see a video on how easy it is to convert the die to create this style of card on Karen Burniston's blog here.

I was lucky to still have some glasses designer paper left in a paper pad, so I used that on the inside of the card.

To decorate the panels I added an owl that is wearing glasses from Pink & Main. Two panels alternate die cut glasses and the remaining panel contains a birthday sentiment in the eye chart style.

For the front of the card I added three larger glasses which are also included in the glasses die set I used.

Here you can see my card party open as it is starting to close. You can see how the panels fold together and start to twist on the side.

And finally when the card is closed. Of course it will close a little more then this so it can go in an envelope, but I wanted you to see how the panel part of the card folds down when closed.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

You always have the most fabulous stamps for each challenge and love all the clever ways you make them flip, or pop, or spring up. The happiness you must bring to all those who receive your cards, Frances.

What a fun-tastic card. We just learned this fold in September's card class and I need to make 9 before the end of this month. Perfection for this challenge, Frances, perfection!
